The Ferry Fair Parade!

On Saturday the 9th of August Northcraft (our favourite new powerboat) took two of our staff and Kirstie from the marina around South Queensferry as part of the Ferry Fair Parade. Lauren and Callum had a fantastic day and did the centre proud with their smiles and sweet throwing! Here is Lauren’s account of the day:

‘It started early with a 9am start at our centre in Port Edgar. We set about power washing the powerboat and decking it out with numerous helium filled balloons and streamers most of which stayed intact throughout the day!

‘Slightly later than planned we hurried up to the school to join our place in the parade, joining dancers and brass bands we made our way through South Queensferry sitting atop the rib and sharing sweets and fliers with the masses who had gathered to watch the parade – apologies if you were hit with one of our mint missiles!

‘The event was a great success and Callum and I had a super time! I would like to thank Kirstie for keeping us organised throughout the day as this is rare when us instructors are left to our own devices. I hope if you were there you enjoyed the parade !’
