The waters around Edinburgh and Fife are full of opportunities for discovering new activities and developing your skills. At Port Edgar Watersports we offer a wide range of sailing and power boating courses from beginner right through to advanced and instructor level. We also run a variety of paddlesports courses including sea kayaking, canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding. There’s no better way of getting into water sports than with our team of highly experienced instructors.
Our sailing and powerboating courses follow the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) National Sailing Scheme, while for paddlesports we are approved by the Scottish Canoe Association (our regional branch of British Canoeing).

Dinghy & Multihull Sailing
Our range of adult dinghy sailing courses cover the complete basics through to racing and performance training.

Keelboat Sailing
More spacious than dinghies, keelboats also feel more stable because of their fixed keel. And because they’re sailed by a crew, you’re out on the water with other people.

Paddlesports
We offer a wide range of paddlesports, including sea kayaking, open canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding.

Windsurfing
Come along and learn the basics of Windsurfing. We offer adult and youth courses in this exhilarating watersport

Powerboating
If you’re more petrol-head than paddler, and prefer your adventures on the water to be engine-powered, have a look at our powerboating courses

Shore Based Courses
From first aid to diesel engine maintenance, and sea survival to navigation, our shore-based courses are a great way to gain new skills or qualifications.
